What classes are available on Indian Railways?
Indian Railways offers several travel classes: Sleeper Class (SL), 3rd AC (3A), 2nd AC (2A), 1st AC (1A), AC Chair Car (CC), Executive Class (EC), and General (2S). Bucefelus will support booking across all classes.
What is Tatkal booking on Indian Railways?
Tatkal is a premium quota for last-minute bookings. Tatkal tickets for AC classes open at 10 AM and for Non-AC classes at 11 AM, one day before the journey. A Tatkal surcharge applies on top of the base fare.
How do I check PNR status for my train booking?
You can check your PNR status through the Bucefelus app or website (coming soon), or through the official Indian Railways website. Your 10-digit PNR number is found on your ticket.
What is the cancellation policy for train tickets?
Indian Railways refund depends on how far in advance you cancel. Cancellation more than 48 hours before departure: ₹60–₹240 flat fee. 48–12 hours before: 25% of fare. 12–4 hours before: 50% of fare. No refund after chart preparation.
